Just as vanilla extract infuses your baked goods with a certain special something, a tincture will, in a way, infuse something special into each and every cell of your body. That something special is the healing power of the all-natural medicines God created.

Some folks worry about the alcohol. There is such a small amount of alcohol that we don't worry about it.

 

YOU CAN USE
MORE THAN ONE TINCTURE AT ONCE

One of the common questions our customers ask is: "can I use more than one of these liquids at once?" The answer is YES. Here's some examples.

  • Example 1: Say you have a gnarly cold coming on that gives you those body aches and congestion. You can use SnotEASE for the congestion, BodEASE for the bodyaches and UpperRespiratorEASE to support the normal functioning of the body's amazing immune system. 
  • Example 2: It's that time of the month for you ladies, and the cramps are making you want to crawl right back into bed. AND you have a headache. First, chug a glass of water. Then grab your TumEASE and the HeadEASE, have some more water, and on with your day! 

 

Some Frequently Asked Questions about Tinctures

How do I take this tincture? Most customers take tinctures in something, and often it's juice.

Is there alcohol in these remedies? For most herbs, alcohol is the best medium to pull all of the medicinal qualities out of the plant. So, yes, there is alcohol in these tinctures.

Am I supposed to count out each drop to take my tincture? When you get your tinctures from Seedtime Farmacy, you'll see that the Serving Suggestions say "Take 40-80 drops" or "Take 20-30 drops." You may wonder, do I really have to count out those drops? NO. We're going to break it down for you.

Many herbal medicines come in liquid form and therefore they are packaged in a glass bottle with a tapered-tip glass dropper. This tapered-tip glass dropper has a rubber black bulb on the end of it which when squeezed will fill up about 1/3-1/2 of the glass dropper's cylinder. This equals between 20 and 25 drops of liquid. This is what we refer to as a "dropper" or "dropper full".

While we welcome you to, if you want to, count the drops to know for yourself, just know that fully squeezing the rubber black bulb at the top of that glass cylinder will fill the glass cylinder about 1/3 to 1/2 way, and that is equivalent to 20-25 drops.

Should I buy the large (2 oz) or small (1 oz) bottle? For a larger family, use the 2oz option above. The main reason our customers buy the 1 ounce is if it’s for a child, or just to try it. Adults are sometimes taking 4 droppers 4-6x/day, and that means you’re gonna fly through that small bottle, so go for the large!
